Sharon Yeo (Director/ Principal Instructress)

Not quite the typical ballerina, Sharon is not classically trained in traditional dance forms. However, her passion for dance has propelled her to pursue training at various dance studios, under the mentorship of leading dancers. She is trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Salsa and Exotic Dance.

Sharon has been dancing for seven years since and has performed in a number of dance shows and events such as a Vesak Day performance at Suntec City’s Fountain of Wealth in 2005 and the Chingay 2005 Parade of Dreams. She has also choreographed dance items for events and concerts and conducted classes and workshops which were well received by her students.

Having acquired dance only at a later stage in life has presented much difficulties which our then budding dancer had to overcome. She prides herself to have overcome the hurdles and put this invaluable learning experience to good use as she conducts her classes and workshops.

Having coped with the difficulties in learning, Sharon is able to understand and empathise with students. Her clear breakdown of steps and patient guidance has made learning dance a more pleasurable experience.
